Camps - General information
-
All camps operate subject to minimum numbers, but that said, in general camps almost always go ahead.
Teenage camps are a little harder to guarantee but we certainly make every effort to encourage budding teenagers to attend.
-
NB Flexibility is occasionally needed time wise in the event of weather that's extrememly inclement. This is an outdoor camp and whilst we try stick to the time schedule as much as possible, every Summer we get in general one or two washout days. Any Time/Days postponed will be made up to the best of everyones ability.

All of our camp assistants are Garda Vetted and have been longtime students of the Tennis program themselves. They have been hired for their proficiency in tennis, their gentle and caring nature, and their over all experience in helping at camps. Any assistants over the age of 18 also have their child Safe Guarding course and certificate completed.

Note for Parents of kids currently heading into Senior Infants in Sept 2025. As a coach and parent of young boys, I see all too regularly how this one extra year between Junior and Senior infants can make a big difference in a childs’ tennis/sporting pathway development. For some children who have just completed Junior infants, 3 hours can be a lot of tennis each day, particularly in the heat of summer! We always ask that parents of children who are going into Senior Infants in Sept, speak with us first before attempting to make a booking. Sometimes this group can feel more comfortable with other classmates or friends beside them. Occasionally due to the open nature of our bookings we might not have a lot of this young age group enquiring for a particular week. This would have an influence on how we might advise you, particularly if your child is very shy or reserved. Regardless, please do speak with us in confidence at the time of booking and we can have a more general discussion on whether we feel the camp would be suitable.
Refund Policy
-
If you notify us a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the start date that you child or children cannot attend, a full refund will be given. We regret that we cannot offer a refund with less than 2 weeks notice, unless there’s a situation where someone else can take your child’s place at short notice.
-
We unfortunately cannot offer a refund once the camp has started, for illness or otherwise, but we will do our best to offer your child time in lieu on another camp if they are too ill to attend. We always help as best we can, in every circumstance, but we cannot offer any hard and fast guarantees
